I try to keep up with the news back home. My internet is absolute crap, so I can’t stream the online newscasts, but I try to check the newspaper archives online. But I feel like the papers are just thinly veiled propaganda to keep the people placid. It’s full of irrelevant, vapid drivel, and there is absolutely nothing of actual substance.
